Our Artisan Soaps are made with the same basic ingredients: olive, oil, palm and castor oils. Wherever possible, natural essential oils and colorants are used.
There are some scents that just cannot be distilled from a plant such as apple, eggnog or dark chocolate. So our artisan soaps employ safe fragrance oils that have been tested in soap making and cosmetics and proven to be gentle to the skin and pleasing to the nose.
Some traditional natural essential oils involve processes that are not sustainable or come from endangered plants such as sandalwood. For these, we have found nature-identical fragrances that smell just as natural and do not harm the planet or the pocket book.
