"He had no beauty or majesty
to attract us to Him.
He was despised and rejected by men,
A man of sorrows,
and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised,
And we esteemed him not."
Isaiah 53: 2-3
A beautiful mounted print of the "Extreme Humility" icon, done by a contemporary iconographer in the Pacific Northwest. This icon is based on a 14th century Serbian icon which is now located at the state Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. Measures 8"x7" and is printed with superior quality UltraChrome Pigment Ink which is colorfast for 75 years. The particular mounting process used also adds UV protection, making an icon that will last. The icon also features holes at both the top and bottom of the backside, along with both a screw and a small stick, so that you can either mount the icon on the wall using the top hole, or put the stick in the bottom hole to make a free-standing icon.
